Overview
NetworkParagon helps businesses investigate and resolve faults within their physical network infrastructure.
Intermittent connectivity, damaged cabling, unclear patching and poorly documented infrastructure can all make faults difficult to diagnose. We take a structured approach to identifying the likely cause, assessing the affected infrastructure and recommending the appropriate remedial work.
Where possible, the aim is not simply to restore connectivity, but to leave the underlying infrastructure easier to understand, maintain and troubleshoot in the future.
What we offer
Cabling Fault Investigation
Investigation of suspected copper cabling faults, damaged links and connectivity issues within the physical infrastructure.
Cable Tracing & Identification
Tracing and identifying poorly labelled or undocumented cabling, outlets, patch panels and network connections.
Infrastructure Testing
Appropriate testing of existing cabling and connectivity to help identify faults, performance issues and areas requiring further investigation.
Cabinet & Patching Remediation
Correction of poor patching, damaged leads, unclear labelling and other physical cabinet issues contributing to unreliable or difficult-to-manage infrastructure.
Infrastructure Audits
Structured assessment of existing cabling, cabinets and physical network infrastructure, with practical findings and recommended improvements.
Clear investigation & remediation pricing
Fault-finding work can vary depending on the symptoms, size of the environment and complexity of the existing infrastructure.
Where possible, we’ll establish an agreed scope for the initial investigation before work begins. If additional remedial work is required, this will be discussed before proceeding.
Work may include: initial assessment · cable tracing · physical inspection · testing · cabinet investigation · fault identification · recommended remedial actions · agreed repair or replacement work.
Common infrastructure problems
Intermittent connectivity
Connections that drop unexpectedly or behave inconsistently.
Dead or unreliable data outlets
Outlets that no longer provide a stable network connection.Unknown cabling and patching
Infrastructure with missing labels, unclear routes or undocumented connections.Damaged cabling or patch leads
Physical damage, poor terminations or ageing components affecting connectivity.Difficult-to-manage cabinets
Poor patching and organisation making even simple troubleshooting unnecessarily difficult.
Find the cause, not just the symptom
Replacing components at random can waste time and money. Our approach is to understand the physical infrastructure, narrow down the likely cause and recommend the appropriate remedial action.
Where we work
NetworkParagon supports businesses across Kent, London and the South East.
Projects outside our usual service area can be discussed depending on the scope and requirements.
